Residential Support Workers - Casual Pool

CBCT has two youth and two adult residential houses and is seeking Support Workers for our casual pool.

You would be required to be called at short notice to fill in gaps in the rosters, which includes day/night and weekend coverage.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with an eye for detail and the ability to work in a mental health environment.

Experience in working with young people and/or adults with mental health issues is a pre-requisite along with your willingness to make a difference in the lives of those you would be supporting.

Skills required are:

• Strong communication and observational skills
• A good understanding of strengths and recovery principles
• A commitment to the principles embodied in Te Tiriti o Waitangi
• The ability to work as part of a Team
• Current First Aid Certificate
• A full current clean drivers license
